Deputies: Man in stolen car starts high-speed chase

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) - An Augusta man led deputies on a high-speed chase that started in Richmond County and ended in Aiken County.

Curtis Prince, 25, is now behind bars at the Aiken County Detention Center charged with larceny. According to reports, Prince lead deputies on a 85-mile per hour chase going through two counties.

The report state once the the suspect's car started to run hot, he got out and ran. Prince was caught a short time later.

Officers say Prince admitted to running because he knew the car was stolen and bought it for $350.
