COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- A 52-year-old man was killed riding his motorcycle on Columbia Road on Thursday evening.
John Paul Heilig was riding east on Columbia Road at William Few Parkway when he turned left in front of a car driven by 50-year-old Spencer Hughes.
Deputy Coroner Harriett Garrison pronounced Heilig dead at the scene.
Hughes is not being charged in the accident.
