Man in custody after allegedly attacking woman, telling her 'I stabbed you to make you love me!'

WINDSOR, S.C. (WRDW) -- The suspect in a stabbing that happened in Windsor Tuesday night is now in custody.

The victim says 44-year-old Steven Ray Turner used an ax to pry open the back door of her home on Stuckey Loop. She claims Turner groped her before stabbing her in her right leg.

The victim told deputies that Turner stated, "I stabbed you to make you love me!"

Turner is being charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree assault and battery.
