WAYNESBORO, Ga. -- A 46-year-old man died after losing control of his car in Burke County Monday morning.

The Georgia State Patrol says Clinton Wayne Harper of Reidsville, Ga., lost control when driving north on GA 121 around 8:05 a.m. He then drove into the median before coming back onto the roadway and overturned several times.

Harper was ejected and killed in the accident. He was said to not have been wearing a seat belt.

Harper's stepdaughter and wife were also in the car. After being taken to the hospital for injuries, 27-year-old Ashley Nicole Austin and 49-year-old Kathy Harper were eventually released.

Coroner Lee Webster says they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
