Update: Man dead after stabbing in Jackson

JACKSON, S.C. -- One man is dead and another behind bars after a stabbing in Jackson, S.C. Sunday.

It happened Sunday around 8pm on South Silverton St. Officials say 24-year-old Brennan Tucker of Jackson died at GRU from stab wounds.

18-year-old Skyler Wright of Jackson was arrested Monday morning after allegedly fleeing the scene Sunday.

Officials tell News 12 that witnesses say the two men began arguing because Wright allegedly owed Tucker five dollars for marijuana.

They say the fight escalated into the stabbing.

Wright ran, but was arrested early Monday morning.
