AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- The man accused in an armed robbery at a liquor store has now been named a suspect in an armed robbery at the Four Seasons parking lot on Sunday night.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Ray Charles Smalls Jr. got into the victim's car, told him he had a weapon and demanded money. Investigators say the victim offered to drive Smalls somewhere instead because he did not have any money. The victim drove for a short amount of time before stopping and trying to escape, which is when Smalls allegedly stabbed the victim in the hand before fleeing on foot.

The victim's injuries are not said to be life threatening.

Smalls is charged with armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
