Teen arrested in connection to Thursday night's fatal shooting

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County investigators arrested 17-year-old Dijon Cortez Abbott on Friday in connection to Thursday night's shooting on Kensington Drive.

Abbott was arrested on the 4200 block of James Drive, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Abbott has been charged in connection with the murder of Marquez Eubanks and the shootings of Jeremy Whitehead and Latrice Nelson.

Abbott is receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained prior to his arrest and will later be booked into the Richmond County Jail for murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and two counts of aggravated assault, according to the Sheriff's Office.
