AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW)- A man was arrested for allegedly calling and threatening the SCE&G call center three times, because his power was not turned on yet, according to the incident report.
The report said 43-year-old Damon Niles Hancock of North Augusta made his first call on Feb. 14, when he threatened to shoot the electrical transformer near his house and dump trash on SCE&G's office steps.
Hancock called back on Feb. 15 and again threatened to dump trash at the office, according to the report. The report said the third call came the next day on Feb. 16, when he threatened to shoot the meter on his property.
The victim pressed charges for unlawful use of a telephone.
