Man accused of breaking into woman's house and setting it on fire

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Deputies say a man is in jail for starting a fire at a home on Gooseneck Road.

Investigators say the arson started as a domestic violence call. They say a woman called 911 claiming 49-year-old Dowell Fulmer broke into her home, threatened her and then set her home on fire.

When deputies arrived, Fulmer was gone however he has since been arrested.

Fulmer is now facing burglary and arson charges.
