AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- A man was arrested after allegedly fighting with and spitting on an Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputy on Friday.
According to the incident report, Quentin D. Hart was found in an overturned sedan in the wood line off Tabernacle Road. While he was receiving treatment, he allegedly started using vulgar language toward friends, law enforcement and EMS workers on the scene.
When a deputy tried to put Hart inside his vehicle, Hart allegedly said, "I ain't going to no f***** jail. Call my sergeant at Fort Gordon. Y'all n***** can't take me to no damn jail."
The incident report states that Hart was asked several times to comply with the officers' commands before he started throwing his head against the rear driver's side window and later kicking the rear passenger's side window with his boots. During this time, the window broke, sending pieces of glass into a deputy's vest and undershirt.
He was then asked to leave the vehicle, which is when officers say he started fighting, kicking a deputy and spitting in the deputy's face.
Hart was taken to receive medical treatment, which he refused. He was taken to the Aiken County Detention Center.
The deputy received medical treatment for his injuries.
