LANGLEY, S.C. (WRDW) -- A man claims he was assaulted by two people while he was working on Tuesday morning.
The victim was working at the government free cellphone tent in the parking lot of Reid's Grocery on Jefferson Davis Highway when he claims he was assaulted around 10 a.m.
He says he was waiting on two customers when Marisol Santiago grabbed one of the customer's IDs from him. When the witness took it back, he says Christopher Corley pushed him down and started punching him. While he was on the ground, he claims Santiago started kicking him.
According to the incident report, both witnesses corroborated the victim's story.
The reporting deputy says the victim had an abrasion on his nose and scrapes on his legs.
Both Corley and Santiago were arrested on assault and battery charges and taken to the Aiken County Detention Center.
