Man acquitted for murder killed in Blackville

A man recently acquitted for murder was killed last night, Blackville Police Department confirms.

BLACKVILLE, S.C. (WRDW) -- A man recently acquitted for murder was killed last night, Blackville Police Department confirms.

The call came in at 10:36 p.m. on Friday. Tracy Davis was found dead near Spiral Circle near Falcon Street.

Davis was accused of being a part of a shooting that killed 65-year-old Leon Brown of Columbia in 2012.

SLED is leading the investigation.

There is not a suspect in the case, but SLED is working some leads.
