AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The man accused of setting his wife on fire in August was denied bond for a second time, court records show.

Ronnie Lee Jones, 30, is accused of pouring gas on his wife in a car and lighting her on fire, deputies said. The victim was left with major burns all over her body.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A judge did not grant bond to the man accused of setting his wife on fire in Richmond County.

Ronnie Lee Jones, 30, is accused of pouring gasoline on his wife and lighting her on fire with a Bic lighter on Aug. 22, according to deputies.

The victim suffered second and third degree burns to 15 percent of her body, the judge said. There are large areas of burnt skin and blisters on her chest, stomach, arm, neck, chin, face, right ankle, calf, and right foot area.
