RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man accused of killing his parents and brother made his first appearance in court on Tuesday afternoon.
Ryan Jones was silent as he walked into the courtroom to see a large group of family members, including his sister and two brothers, in court for the hearing.
Prosecutors say Jones used a gun to shoot and kill his parents and brother in their home last week and set their bodies on fire to try to cover it up.
The judge said Jones had been living at the home in south Augusta with his parents and brother when this all happened.
Bond, if granted, will will be set at a later date in superior court.
A memorial service is scheduled for the victims -- Edna, Roosevelt and Russell Jones -- at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Good Shepherd Church on Olive Road in Augusta.
