AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Lt. Robbie Silas told News 12 he will be announcing his candidacy for the Sheriff's position in Augusta-Richmond County today.
The announcement will be at 12:30 p.m. in front of the Democratic Headquarters on Greene Street.
Lt. Silas says he wants to "bridge the racial divide" and "reach our young people."
