Assault suspect on the loose in North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- A suspicious vehicle stop left three in custody and one person still on the loose, North Augusta Public Safety said.

The person who ran had outstanding warrants in Aiken County.
Aiken County Dispatch says the suspect is wanted for breach of trust of a vehicle and assault.
Officers brought out dogs to search for a suspect near Melody Lane.

The car that was stopped is being as called stolen and three people who were in the car are in custody, according to North Augusta Public Safety.
