COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- News 12 has learned the daughter of former Columbia County Commissioner Scott Dean has been denied bond.
The judge refused to grant a bond for 19-year-old Marlin Dean, saying she is a "flight risk."
The alleged victim is Renee Dean, Marlin's adopted mother, who reported about $20,000 in missing jewelry.
Marlin's adopted father, Scott, is serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of two counts of child molestation in December.
He was convicted of sexually molesting one of his other adopted daughters, touching her and exposing himself to her.
