GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (WRDW) -- One person died in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 1 in front of Aiken Technical College Thursday night.

Troopers say the motorcycle driver was 24-year-old Rachel Baker of North Augusta.

Two other vehicles were involved in the wreck. All three were driving down U.S. 1. when Baker allegedly swerved to miss a dog in the roadway, lost control and fell off the bike. That's when the two other vehicles struck her.

Baker was ejected from the motorcycle and died from multiple body trauma.

The drivers and passengers in the other vehicles did not sustain any injuries.

This is the seventh traffic fatality in Aiken County in 2013.
