Investigators searching for third suspect in Augusta shooting

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW)-The Richmond County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects in connection with a shooting on the 1400 block of Brown Street.

Fredrick Nelson was arrested on April 22 and Carl Nipper was arrested April 24. They both face two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime charges.

Deputies said they responded to Brown Street on April 16 around 8:30 p.m. based on reports of a shooting. That's when they said they found two victims with gunshot wounds.

Investigators are still searching for Reginald Forrest, another suspect in the shooting.

Anyone with information on Forrest's location is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080 or during business hours at 706-821-1020. Callers may remain anonymous.
