Investigators looking for answers in murder of Hephzibah man

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County investigators are still looking for the gunman in the murder of a Hephzibah man.

Investigators say Hester Jackson caught burglars in the act of robbing his home earlier this month, which is when he was fatally shot.

Jackson lived on the 2700 block of Willis Foreman Road in Hephzibah.

If you have any information, call the Violent Crimes Division of the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080. A reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
