HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County investigators say a second crime scene was discovered sometime Tuesday afternoon at a home on Pinnacle Place Drive in connection to the three bodies that were found in a brush fire Tuesday afternoon.
The bodies were found in a wooded lot off of Johnathan Place and Issac Way.
Investigators say they went to the home around 7:30 p.m. for a welfare check. When they arrived on scene, they said they found evidence that linked the residence to the three murder victims.
A person of interest is said to be in custody, but no charges have been filed at this time due to the sensitive amount of evidence that needs to be processed at both crime scenes.
