COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- A woman is in custody after investigators claim she falsely accused a deputy of raping her over the weekend.
Investigators say 23-year-old Kelsey Long tried running away during a traffic stop. Long claims that the deputy raped her after he caught her.
Long was charged with false report of crime and false statements on Tuesday.
She's also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a Schedule III drug, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and multiple traffic violations.
No bond has been set at this time.
