ATLANTA (WRDW) -- Officials say the insured losses from the tornadoes and severe storms that swept through Georgia on Wednesday is estimated at $75 million.
Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens says the numbers could rise as more claims are reported.
Georgians can call Consumer Services at (404) 656-2070 (or 1-800-656-2298 if you're calling outside of Atlanta) with questions about claims or problems getting in touch with insurance companies. The phone lines are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
