AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Locals with storm-related debris can place piles near the street for curbside pickup, the Aiken county government said.
They suggest anyone with debris should keep it away from fire hydrants, valves, and utility poles.
Southern Disaster Recovery will concentrate its efforts on County-maintained roads. The South Carolina Department of Transportation will be in charge of debris removal from State roads.
There is no size limitation on curbside debris. The county said it anticipates an additional and final pass of the area 3 to 4 weeks from Feb. 24.
