Information released on how to apply for presidential inauguration tickets

Friday, Nov. 9, 2012

ATLANTA -- Sen. Hardie Davis has released information on how to request tickets for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C.

In order to request tickets, you must contact your U.S. senator or representative. They must have been elected or re-elected in the Nov. 6 election. The allotment of tickets are free. However; the number of tickets are limited, so it is important to request them sooner rather than later.

You can use the following links to find your U.S. senator or representative to request tickets or to have your name put on a waiting list:
- Georgia’s U.S. senators
- Georgia’s U.S. representatives

The Presidential Inauguration Committee and the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region is also taking requests to participate in Inauguration Day events from marching bands, equestrians and military groups. Any groups interested in being a part of a marching band or military participation can apply here.
