From Chief Meteorologist Shane Butler: The center of Hurricane Sandy has come onshore. The storm made landfall near Atlantic City, New Jersey around 8 p.m. The system is now a post tropical cyclone packing winds of 80 mph. It is moving W-NW at 23 mph. The cyclone will continue to produce strong winds, flooding rains and heavy snowfall over parts of the Northeastern U.S.
