AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A cold drink and a good game of golf can keep anyone in their seats.
"They have such a good time relaxing here, they forget about going to watch the best game of golf that there is," said Steve Parry, owner of the 1018 Club.
He runs a paradise right in the heart of National Hills.
And his Southern hospitality is turned all the way up to the max.
"We feel a lot of character, we want anyone who comes here to know they're just not at a place to sit at a rented table and to sit at a rented bar and have a bite to eat and drink," he told News 12.
Guests come from all over looking for a new experience.
Here, you'll find three meals a day, over 20 flat-screen TVs and the list goes on and on.
"They feel like they're a member of a nice country club," Parry said.
With over a dozen hospitality houses sitting not even a mile from Augusta National, places like the 1018 Club are trying to hit a hole-in-one with their guests.
Over the past few years, business has been slow for Parry, but this year, he is expecting a lot more.
"We have a lot of new people and new companies that have never been here to enjoy it," he said.
Along with all of the normal faces, who have made the 1018 Club what it is today.
"To watch the excitement and the great time people are having, watching the game of golf down the street and then coming here to relax in a beautiful setting," he said.
That makes his job that much more rewarding.
