RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County deputies say they stopped a van driving eastbound on I-20 at the Bobby Jones Expressway exit for speeding and found fake purses inside.

Lt. Lewis Blanchard of the Richmond County Sheriff's Office says deputies also found a 25-gallon tank with a liquid inside, when hazmat crews were called to test it.

Hazmat officials say the chemicals are used to make perfume.

Deputies say three people from another country were riding in the van, and they're investigating whether or not they're in the country illegally.
