Gamecocks, Bulldogs fans set to enjoy Border Bash in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- South Carolina and Georgia fans are coming together on Friday night to enjoy the Border Bash in downtown Augusta.

The Bash is being held at the Augusta Common.

Gates open at 4 p.m. and tickets at the gate are $15. Children 12 and under are free.

The following road closures are scheduled from 8 a.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday: westbound Broad Street between 8th and 9th streets and the right lane of eastbound Reynolds between 8th and 9th streets.

Here's the schedule of events:
4 p.m. - Gates open
4:30 - 6 p.m. - Tailgate games
6 - 7 p.m. - Joe Stevenson Band
7:15 - 7:25 p.m. - University of Georgia cheerleaders
7:25 - 7:35 p.m. - University of South Carolina cheerleaders
7:45 - 8:35 p.m. - Joe Stevenson Band
8:50 - 9 p.m. - University of South Carolina cheerleaders
9 - 9:10 p.m. - University of Georgia cheerleaders
9:30 - 11 p.m. - Cowboy Mouth
