AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The owner of an Augusta business is accused of selling alcohol across state lines.

Agents with the state Alcohol and Tobacco Division made a visit to Roux's Catering Service on Thursday.

According to the report, William Robert Williams admitted to buying the alcohol in South Carolina because it was cheaper and then selling it to patrons through catering packages. Investigators say Williams was not paying Georgia taxes on the alcoholic beverages.

Approximately 165 bottles of wine, 79 bottles of liquor and over 1,500 bottle/cans of beer were confiscated from the business on Jones Street.

Investigators say a criminal warrant could be issued for Williams' arrest.
