RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Georgia Supreme Court has upheld the murder conviction and life sentence for a Richmond County man.

It was Lorenzo Lindsey's second appeal of his conviction for the deadly shooting of Marcus Taylor in 2002. Taylor was shot in the parking lot of the Citgo Gas Station at 15th St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Taylor's family originally testified that the killing was revenge for testimony against Lindsey three years before that shooting.

The state Supreme Court did grant Lindsey a new trial in 2007, but he was convicted again in 2009, before this year's appeal.
