Fort Gordon to turn out lights for substation improvements

FORT GORDON, Ga. (WRDW) - The lights at Fort Gordon will be turned off while workers make improvements to the power substation.

The installation say the lights will be off across the post on Saturday, December 28th from about 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while Georgia Power works on the substation.

The Commissary will be closed during this time. Only a few places will retain power during the black out, including the Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
