EVANS, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 confirms the former Stratford treasurer plead not guilty to felony theft charges at her arraignment this week.

Laurie Vanover is accused of stealing more than $267,663 from the Stratford Homeowner's Association over a four year period.

During their investigation, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office learned Vanover was the only person allowed to make transactions with the association's card, according to the HOA president. Investigators later learned she was paying off her personal credit cards.

Vanover turned herself in earlier this year.
