Former GRU hospital worker pleads not guilty to sexual assault charges

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A former medical worker pleaded not guilty in court on Thursday.

Bernard Edwards, 56, is accused of sexually assaulting two patients and touching a third one inappropriately.

Edwards worked as a mental health technician at Georgia Regents University.

Edwards was fired on Jan. 8 for gross misconduct.
