AUGUSTA -- Fire investigators are looking into flames that broke out in an Augusta home early Monday morning.
Firefighters say the blaze started around 3:30 a.m. on 13th Street at Dugas Street. They were able to respond and extinguish the flames within a few minutes. We're told most of the damage is around the back door.
No one was inside the home at the time. Crews tell us a fire investigator will inspect the damage and determine if the fire was set on purpose.
