AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Fire crews battled a house fire in Augusta Thursday morning.

Crews were called to the 3200 block of Sycamore Drive at 6:30 a.m.

Crews told News 12 that the owners don't actually live in the house and have been renting it out.

Firefighters were able to contain the flames to one side of the house. We're told the fire did not start in the kitchen.

An investigator is investigating the damage to determine a cause.
