NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- Fire crews battled a mobile home fire on Kildare Drive in North Augusta on Thursday.

Fire officials said the flames started when work was being done on underpinnings. They say it was a staple gun hitting a wire.

The homeowner tried to put it out and is now in the hospital for smoke inhalation, fire officials said.
