Evans, Ga. (WRDW) -- It's been a year since the Thomson plane crash that killed five Vein Guys employees.

The plane crashed just before 11 p.m. February 20, 2013. Investigators say the plane overshot the runway at the Thomson-McDuffie Airport, shortly before it crashed into a power pole causing it to crash to the ground.

Today, the company is remembering the victims, Doctor Steven Roth, Kim Davidson, Heidi McCorkle, Tiffany Porter and Lisa Volpitto.

The one-year anniversary memorial service will be held at Revivify Church located in the Columbia County Auditorium at 7022 Evans Town Center Blvd, Evans, Ga.

The service starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. The community is welcome to attend.

For those that cannot attend, but would like to show support, there is a memorial fund that was established for the children who lost a parent in the accident.

Supporters can contribute to the fund by mailing a check to:
