Fallen trees, storm damage reported in Columbia Co.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- Columbia County's Emergency Management Agency director has confirmed there were several fallen trees in the area due to Tuesday night's storms.

Director Pam Tucker says crews removed trees from the following places:

  • The Pass: Call came in at 2:30 a.m.
  • Clanton Road: Two trees removed at separate locations. One tree fell on a car. No injuries were reported.
  • Old Harlem/Appling Highway: A car ran into a tree. Tree removed from roadway. No injuries reported.
  • Louisville Road at Wrightsboro Road: Tree being removed from roadway.
