AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Augusta commissioners are considering the punishment for a local nightclub where a minor also took the stage and stripped. On Tuesday, we told you commissioners voted to suspend the business license for Club Skittlez after a picture surfaced showing the teen performing nude with a nationally known exotic dancer.
Kelvin House, whose stage name is Redickulous, is from Augusta. He says he was making a club appearance and it's not the entertainment's job to check the ID of an 18-and-up club.
"Now I'm being told that I just showed up. Why would I come to Augusta on April 27? If anything, I would've came during Masters Week," House said.
You might have seen House on episodes of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Richmond County investigators say his live show on April 27 involved him dancing naked and pulling a 16-year-old up on stage with him at the club.
"It was a setup. He came in there with a fake ID. He rode in the car with the performer," said club owner Timothy Lowery.
But Redickulous says that's just ridiculous.
"I was supposed to perform for Augusta's Pride, but I canceled the booking after this happened," House said.
House sent us Facebook messages supposedly from Lowery as proof that he was paid to get nude and these fliers.
The owner denies it, and Augusta commissioners have a problem with it all.
"The club owner needs to put measures in place to make sure that never happens again," said Commissioner Bill Fennoy.
Lt. Calvin Chew with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office told News 12 that House hasn't been charged because the 16-year-old gave consent to be on stage.
