JENKINS COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- An escaped inmate is back behind bars in Jenkins County.
Sheriff Robert Oglesby says his deputies, along with U.S. Marshals and Millen police officers tracked down Michael Middleton at a family member's house in Millen.
Investigators found Middleton in the back bedroom of the home. He surrendered without incident. Sheriff Oglesby says the investigation is ongoing and charges could be filed against some of the family members.
Middleton had been on the run since Wednesday. Oglesby says he was in a Jenkins County courtroom to plead guilty to armed robbery charges.
