GRANITEVILLE, S.C. -- Aiken County investigators are still looking for the two men that broke into 80-year-old Elizabeth Shaw's house.

For an area that doesn't see a lot of crime, this incident has some neighbors shaken up.

"I probably won't sleep tonight over it," said next-door neighbor Bonnie Holliday after her long-time friend Shaw was burglarized.

"How dare them do this to a woman who is on oxygen and in her 80s. How dare them do that? She didn't deserve it. She's not ever hurt anybody in her life," Holliday said through tears.

Detectives say two men wearing dark clothing with covered faces broke in.

"She suffered some minor bruising to her wrists," said Aiken County Sgt. Jason Feemster.

It happened early Thursday morning on Gregg Street in the Graniteville community of Aiken County.

"Two unknown, she's defining as white males, entered into her residence. They came back into her bedroom where she was and demanded money," Feemster said.

While investigators didn't find any forced entry into the home, the victim told detectives she may have left her house keys in the back door.

The police report says the burglars asked Shaw about the person who used to live there.

Deputies say they're hoping the community can help them find the two guys that did this.

"We know that someone's gonna be talking, so we're hoping that that information will find its way to our investigators and we can make an arrest," Feemster said.

As for Holliday, she hopes they get caught soon -- and convicted.

"[I hope] that they're put away for a long, long, long time. The word of God says you reap what you sow, and these men that did this are gonna get what they deserve," Holliday said.
