UPDATE | 2-year-old treated after hit by car

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- A child was hit by a car in a yard on Drie Circle in Monetta Thursday night, the Aiken County Sheriff's Office said.

Aiken County EMS was working on the 2-year-old once deputies arrived at 9:22 a.m. The child was taken to Aiken Regional Medical Center then Georgia Regents Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have ruled the incident an accident and there will no criminal charges, the Sheriff's Office said.
