Deputy Chief fired from Waynesboro PD

WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Waynesboro Police Department fired Deputy Chief Roosevelt Lodge on Friday night.

Chief of Police Augustus Palmer III said the decision is a personnel matter but that it was reached with the best interest for the people of Waynesboro.

Lodge spoke with News12 and said he plans to appeal the firing and will release a full statement soon through his attorney.
