AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Investigators are searching for the person who shot a man on Windsor Spring Road Friday morning.
The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at the Corner Pocket Sports Bar.
Garnsy Grissom III, 21, had just left the bar when investigators say he was shot.
Friends of the victim said they put Grissom in their car and were on the way to the hospital when they saw a deputy in the Bank of America parking lot on Peach Orchard Road. That's when they pulled over and the deputy called for an ambulance.
Grissom is expected to recover from his injuries.
There are no leads on any suspects at this time.
