Mobile home in Augusta is total loss after early morning fire

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned an Augusta mobile home is a total loss after the Richmond County Fire Department put out a fire that started early Wednesday morning.

The call came in just before 2 a.m. Wednesday for a structure fire on the 3000 block of Belair Road.

We're told crews successfully extinguished the fire at a vacant mobile home around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured during the fire.

The Richmond County fire chief tells News 12 the cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
