AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office identify the man accused of attacking Venisha Brown as 42-year-old David Johnathan Walker.

News 12's sources confirm that Venisha is James Brown's daughter. According to reports, deputies were called to Telfair Street where they found Brown with cuts on both arms.

She told them she had been riding with Walker while running errands. Brown says she promised him some money for gas and had given him some money when they were done running errands.

The report says the two then got into a fight, and Walker took out a small pocket knife and slashed Brown several times while trying to get more money from her pockets.

A person close by tried to help Brown, but was also threatened with the knife. That person was not injured.

Walker then left the scene in an older model green Ford extended cab pickup truck. Deputy reports say it may have had South Carolina plates and tinted windows.

He is wanted on several charges including aggravated assault and the possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

If you know where Walker is, call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
