Deputies searching for armed robbery suspect on Tobacco Road

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. -- Richmond County deputies are looking for an armed robbery suspect who left Fred's on Tobacco Road on foot.

Deputies say a man armed with a gun attempted to rob Fred's Store around 8:30 p.m.

They say he left the scene on foot and no one was hurt.

Details are limited at this time, but deputies are actively searching for the suspect.
