Officers say man held woman at gunpoint in parking lot of Aiken Walmart

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW)-Officers responded to the Walmart on Whiskey Road Friday at 12:00 p.m. for a report of a an armed robbery, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

A man walked up to the victim while she was sitting in her car in the parking lot, pointed a gun at her and demanded money, officers said. Officers said the victim gave the suspect some cash and her cellphone.

The male suspect left in a white car, according to Public Safety. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call
The male subject then left the Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372). Callers could be eligible for a cash-reward of up to $1,000.
