UPDATE: Driver sent to hospital after car collides with tree

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- Deputies, the South Carolian Highway Patrol and EMS were on the scene Tuesday morning after a car collided with a tree.
It happened just before 6:30 a.m. on State Park Road.
The driver was still inside the car when deputies arrived but was not entrapped.
Deputies tell News 12 the driver was taken to a local hospital.
